A brief look at all our HOME PAGE has to offer

 

 

 

       At www.pigeonpals.com you can find a host of pigeon and pigeon racing content updated daily by Glenn West and the club’s members. Through various video sharing sites and social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Digg, Metacafe and many others, we try each day to broadcast relevant and topical items through these sites or Glenn West’s Blog “P.P. News”.

 

       On YouTube you can find our channel ThePigeonpals, many of our members’ channels and all of our YouTube Friends and subscribers share daily pigeon videos here. ThePigeonpals channel is a complete history of the club from it’s inception on line in July. Also, you can find Our “DAILY RACE RESULTS” video s here. Our members channels are a wide selection of content from pigeon related topics to sports betting and even good old animal lovers. Almost all of our YouTube Friends and Subscribers

are pigeon fanciers of the more traditional sort, more accustom to long distance one loft style racing, regardless we all share the same love and appreciation for the birds.

 

     Facebook started out very slow. It took Glenn a while to get his feet and after sitting, for the first 60 days with 12 friends, we are up over 340 pigeon fanciers. These pigeon folk share all aspects of pigeons including homers, tumblers, high flyers, fancy, carrier and how to breed, train, race, house, care for and even get rid of. You can find us on Facebook under Glenn West or follow the link from our Home Page.

 

     We have enjoyed our highest viewer ship on Metacafe. This is the only video posting site that allows URL transfers and as we use a lot of YouTube’s audioswap we are very thankful for this option. Metacafe’s video submissions go through a review panel which I’m sure must help with “views”. Due to the fact we are a results provider and this attracts a more mature sporting audience we feel Metacafe’s adult oriented site also helps our viewer ship.

 

     On Twitter we are “Pigeon Pals” and use a Twitter search box on the Home Page that searches all  tweets with “pigeon racing” in them. If you have an idea for this Twitter search and would like us to see what comes up on a daily basis just leave a comment on any of the dozens of comment or chat boxes. If you are on Twitter please “follow” us and Glenn West will “follow” you right back.

 

     Like a news blog, Glenn West’s blog  P.P. News acts as a quick overview of only some of the content we move and shake about on a daily basis. This blog always includes the weather for the club’s daily race and a player for the results video. From here anything goes and as we refine the categories and add topic specific rooms this will get very fun and interesting not to mention informative. For now Glenn tries to share pigeon race results from other places, training videos and articles, links to other pigeon forums and sites and all the great content passed along through our networks.

 

     As you can see our Home page alone, has a lot to offer, but don’t forget that the real fun starts with membership in our short track daily racing club. At Pigeon Pals Daily Racing Club we supply race results everyday.
