Pigeon Pals Daily Racing Club Poker Leader Board Report
Happy Monday Pigeon Racers and Poker Players!!
The weekly leaderboard tournament was last night and as I mentioned yesterday I was the only Pigeon Pal player to qualify. So, with the hopes of the club firmly seated on my shoulders, I battled against a little over 1500 people. At the 2hr 5min. mark I, sadly, busted out in 55th, playing on a fairly conservative table, the blinds were 1 and 2k, I raised two from the button with king/ queen suited to 6500 the button called and big blind called, at this point I have 24k left the button has 13k and the big blind has 24k as well, the flop came queen, six, seven rainbow, and the big blind bet out 7k, I pushed over the top ALL IN and the button folded, big blind called and turned over pocket nines, I thought I was Golden, but the turn was a nine and I was drawing dead, too bad it would have made me a monster.
This tournament, I qualified for, was for being in the top 2000 players in the last week. This "Leader Board": tournament has a $1000. prize pool and only pays out the top three; $750 for first, $200 for second and $50 for third. Most of the cash tourneys are payed this way with larger prizes over fewer places paid so if you do place it is usually because you earned it and is a decent sized prize. FREE POKER has come to Pigeon Pals Daily Racing Club!!
