Finally Some Summer Weather
Hello Everyone:
We have been enjoying the weather this week, I think it's the longest stretch, without rain, we've had in some time. With some dryer air, the racers are feeding well and gaining weight. Yesterday was my turn to "muck-out" the loft, so I did my best not to fall this time.
Today's video shows some of the younger birds out circling the loft, this is nice to see. I'm sure, and have been told, they will be ready to race for Sept. 1st . Also, welcome to all our newest members,"owner's" and "player's" alike. With the #'s that are already racing, as well as the new members, makes September look like a busy month, we can hardly wait!
